WALA taking digital photos.

12 March
We went out to our discovery garden after it had rained and used the digital camera to take some photos of what we found.
 Mrs Keane
My photo is of a caterpillar hanging upside down and beginning to transform into a chysalis. I wonder how it holds onto the leaf with such strength?
 Mackenzie
I took a photo of the bleeding caterpillar. Can you see the yellow blood?

 Owen
My photo was taken when the caterpillar was turning into a chrysalis under the wood.

Eli
I took a picture of a caterpillar but the branch had no leaves on it.

 River
My photo is of the caterpillar on the swan plant with no leaves. The caterpillars have eaten it all.

 Jheyme
I took a photo of a green caterpillar. It might turn into a green butterfly.

Lilia
My photo is of two caterpillars looking for some food. They are not on the swan plant.

Claire
I took a photo of a VERY little caterpillar maybe it had just hatched out of its egg.

Isabella

I took a picture of the dead caterpillars. I saw some children knocking them off.

 Ruben
The caterpillar is turning into a chrysalis. It is hanging upside down under the wood.

 Ava
I took a photo of the dead chrysalis. It fell off the branch. Maybe someone knocked it off or it could have been the rain or it could have been a earthquake.

Jake

These caterpillars are eating pumpkin because all the swan plant leaves have been eaten. So now the caterpillars are doing orange poo instead of green poo!
